What happens at your first vacuum massage session?

You arrive in comfortable clothing, we talk through what you would like to work on, and you lie on the treatment bed while a handpiece uses gentle suction in slow, rhythmic movements over the area. It feels like a firm massage, with no needles and no recovery time. Afterwards you get dressed and carry on with your day.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and bring a bottle of water to drink afterwards. Treatments are done in a private room, and you stay covered and comfortable while the treated area is accessible. If you are unsure what to wear, ask when you book and we will tell you.

There is nothing to prepare beyond that. You do not need to arrive having done anything special, and you do not need to bring anything other than yourself.

Does vacuum massage hurt?

It should not. The suction is adjusted to what is comfortable for you, and it is generally described as a firm, rhythmic massage. You may feel a pulling sensation on the skin. If anything feels too strong, say so and we will change it, because the treatment should always feel comfortable.

Tell us about any skin condition, recent surgery or health concern before you start. We would rather adjust or decline than risk an unpleasant session.

What happens after the session?

You get dressed and carry on with your day, because there is no recovery time. Drinking water and staying active help. We suggest how often to come back based on your goals, and you decide what suits your budget and your week. Nothing is paid online, and booking the next session is by WhatsApp.

If you are going straight back to work or collecting children, that is fine. If you notice anything unusual afterwards, message us.

How do I book my first session?

Choose a treatment and a time on the booking form, or WhatsApp us, and we will confirm an exact time with you. Nothing is paid online. If you are unsure which treatment to choose, tick 'Not sure yet' and we will suggest one when we confirm. We are in Durbanville, open Monday to Saturday.

It takes about a minute. We will message you on WhatsApp to lock in a day and time, and answer any questions you have before you come.

What if I feel nervous about my first treatment?

That is completely normal. Say so when you arrive, ask any question, and we will explain each step before it starts. You can ask for the suction to be changed or for the session to pause at any time. Nothing about a first session needs to be rushed, and there is no pressure to book more.

Feeling a little unsure about a new treatment is common. Knowing what will happen, and that you are in control of the settings, usually settles it quickly.

If you would rather ask questions before you commit to a time, WhatsApp us first.

What if I have a health condition or am pregnant?

Tell us when you book. If you are pregnant, have a circulation condition, recent surgery or an implanted device, check with your doctor first, because we would rather be careful than assume. We will say honestly if a treatment is not right for you, and suggest an alternative where we can.

Your doctor knows your history better than we do. A quick message to them before your first visit is the safest route, and we are happy to wait for their answer.
